Meet the Team
at Wesley Haven Villa

Our Leadership and Residency Team
Our residency team is here to guide individuals and families as they explore life at Wesley Haven Villa. They are available to answer questions, provide information about living options and help you understand the process of becoming a resident.

Tess Helton
Tess is our administrator, a dedicated healthcare professional and Certified Dementia Practitioner, bringing more than 20 years of compassionate industry experience to her role. Her journey began in 2005 in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, where she fell in love with senior care—a calling that felt natural after growing up in a musical Lower Alabama family dedicated to uplifting others. To enhance her residents' quality of life, Tess seamlessly blends her senior care expertise with her background in Culinary and Pastry Arts, frequently treating her residents to homemade meals and baked goods. Tess celebrates 15 years of marriage with her husband, Kip, and is a proud mother of four and a doting "LaLa" to her granddaughter, Lovey.

Kristen Hulsey
Coming from a family of registered nurses, Kristen was inspired to begin her nursing career in 2024 as an Oncology/Neurology RN. After two years in a hospital setting, she transitioned to assisted living, and now serves as Director of Health Services at Wesley Haven Villa. "I am dedicated to providing compassionate, professional, and resident-centered care that promotes safety, dignity, comfort, and quality of life. My goal is to never lose sight of the basics—being present, listening with compassion, and helping residents and their families feel supported, informed, and at peace."

Stacey Martin-Dees
Stacey is our Life Enrichment Coordinator. She was born and raised in Pensacola, discovering a passion for caring for others when she began volunteering at Haven of Our Lady of Peace at the age of 14. Stacey enjoys creating opportunities for residents to stay active, engaged, and connected. Whether planning fun activities, celebrating special occasions, or simply sharing a smile, her goal is to make each day meaningful, enjoyable and filled with purpose. She has been happily married to her husband Gerald for 25 years, with one daughter, two stepchildren, and one grandson. “I feel truly blessed to work alongside such wonderful residents, families, and team members, and I am honored to be a part of a community that feels like home.”
